Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø is a successful, vibrant and caring school featuring a diverse community of learners. The School was established in 1974 through the visionary amalgamation of two neighbouring schools – Girton Girls and King’s College for boys.

In 1974, Girton Girls’ School and King’s College for boys joined forces to establish Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø, creating a legacy of quality, inclusive co-education.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø story began more than half a century ago when our founders recognised that the union between Girton Girls’ School and King’s College for boys would make us stronger together.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø's Strategic Plan 2030 lights the way for our next chapter as a world-leading provider of quality, inclusive co-education.

The governance of the School is vested in the School Board which delegates the management and day-to-day running of the School to the Principal.

A large and cohesive team of around 300 people work and teach at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø, where staff are supported and respected as professionals and experts in their fields.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø is located in leafy Kensington Park, just 3.5 kilometres east of Adelaide's CBD.

As South Australia's first school to offer the International Baccalaureate, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø is determined to help shape a hopeful future through global learning.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø recognises the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and respects their ongoing connection with the land.
